Over the years, I have enjoyed marking events for friends, colleagues and family. five years ago I thought I was becoming a photographer but a happy spin-off from my battle with cancer led me to re-focus onto hand-drawn and painted images and most recently print techniques. See “Cartooning through Cancer” for a series of cartoons drawing on the dark humour of being ill. Perhaps appropriately, my first commission following that was to provide 125 cartoons for a book on mental health!
